Fritz was a farmer in Mills County, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed a member of the Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa (as was his wife too). He died 16 June 1935 at his home in Gordon, Sheridan, Nebraska. He was buried on 19 June 1935 in the Gorden Cemetery in Gordon, Sheridan, Nebraska. His death certificate (F6759) from the State of Nebraska states that the cause of his death was leakage of heart/chronic myocarditis. A notice of probate states that a hearing was to be held 13 July 1935 in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The attorney in the notice was John J. Olsson of Gordon, Nebraska. The notice was published June 20th, 27th and July 4th of 1935.
Louisa also was known as Sophie. She died 26 January 1948 in Wenatchee, Chelan, Washington. Memorial services were held in Wenatchee on 28 January 1948 and Reverand Frank Beatty officiated. She was buried on 1 February 1948 in the Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, Sheridan, Nebraska.
Unfortunately I did not keep track of my sources on the following information:
Fritz -- "In 1905, moved with the Caroline Wittland family to the Mapleton-Danbury area. In 1919 the family moved to Gordon, Sheridan County, Nebraska and settled on a farm N.E. of Gordon, Nebraska."
Louisa -- "Family surname changed from Meyer to Myers about 1906. Jan. 31, 1894, moved with family to Northwestern Nebraska where she resided until the death of her husband. Residence at time of death was 524 1/2 Cascade Street, Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington. Following the death of her husband, she moved into Gordon Nebr. in 1935, for 2 yrs., then moved to Wenatchee, WA in 1937. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Presbyterian Church."
